about me
I’m a Multidisciplinary-Artist, and Photographer, born & raised in Jamaica. For the past 20 years I’ve worked as a witness to life unfolding; documenting & archiving community activity in Toronto, and baring witness to the complex patterns and cycles of human behaviour.
I’m a dancer, painter, and writer. Often you’ll find me mulling over the hard questions of epistemology and moral philosophy. It is my sacred belief that we can achieve anything we set our minds to; Our beliefs shape our reality; The limit of our lives is the limit of our imagination. It is a choice to expand or stay the same.

my art
My art is the result of a kind of obsessive repetitive action of focussed attention. Often times I don’t know what I’ve created until I step away from it. Art is the way I give myself the space to feel my feelings, and perhaps reveal something of what might be hiding in the shadows of my mind.

conceptual self-PORTRAITure
I began my photographic journey with self-portraiture back in 2005, before selfie sticks, camera phones, and what is essentially the fast fashion equivalent of portraiture. I loved playing these different parts, wearing different masks, expressing things I couldn’t say yet with words.
Learning to use complex equipment and working through problems has been my greatest joy in life. It’s the reason I will never stop searching for ways to grow.

Our access to truth is filtered through our subjective perception.
